The Fully Insulated Female Quick Disconnect fits American Wire Gauge (AWG) size 22-18, the largest of the standard AWG sizes. The nylon coating provides the insulation that prevents the electricity from escaping the connection. The quick disconnects are easy to use as well. Strip the wire just enough to fit into the barrel, insert the wire, and crimp the barrel. This will give you a tight, secure connection. The environmental operating temperature of the female disconnect is -40°F to 220°F (-40°C to 105°C). The Female Quick Disconnects are meant to be used with our Fully Insulated Male Quick Disconnects.
