General Purpose Polyester Expandable Monofilament Sleeving is an excellent way to bundle and secure cables, wires, or other tubing together. The 1 1/2" sleeving expands around the installation and then tightens back around once you completed installation. The monofilament expandable sleeving is great for marine and automotive uses because it has an external operating temperature of -94°F to 257°F (-70°C to 125°C) and a melt temperature of 482°F (250°C).
When tested against ASTM-D, UL, and Military standards, it was found that the tensile strength of the General Purpose Monofilament Sleeving is resistant to the following: Fungus, cleaning fluid, de-icing fluid, fuel oil, gasoline, hydraulic fluid, lubricating oil, salt water, and solvents.
