Metal Detectable Cable Ties are primarily used around the manufacturing of food, beverage, and cosmetics. The reason for this is that during the process of making these cable ties, metal is added to the teal nylon. This allows for the machines that are used in the industries to be able to detect a defect should a cable tie fall into a vat. The teal color also helps provide a visual check. These 8" Metal Detectable cable ties have a tensile strength of 40 lbs and have a continuous use environmental operating temperature of 185°F (85°C).
